i-APS works in some of the most challenging environments globally, including humanitarian crises, fragile states and conflict zones. We have engaged over 85 national and international clients on projects ranging in size from $150,000 to over $96 million. Our people-centered approach produces actionable results to help our clients and partners improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their work.

i-APS is looking for a secretary to provide administrative support to our operations. A secretary will track projects from start to finish to ensure efficiency and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all operations in the office of Country Manger (CM) and maintain record for daily actions
  • Organize daily tasks and communicate with assigned staff to ensure complimentary and efficiency.
  • Attend the company’s meetings and keep minutes, and follow up with taken actions.
  • Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, etc.) in both Arabic and English.
  • Prepare and write all reports in English and Arabic.
  • Translate documents from Arabic to English and Vice Versa.
  • Plan and arrange communication with company main office and other branches if needed.
  • Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure and properly documented.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible
  • Establish & maintain a professional relationship within and outside the company
  • Perform any other tasks might be requested by country manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in English is required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
  • High degree of attention to details.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment.
